A first for the conference: with my team, we built and presented the first LLM-powered paper network at CAS 2026 — an interactive 3D semantic map that lets every author instantly see where their work sits relative to everyone else's.
We encoded each accepted paper with SPECTER embeddings, projected them into a navigable 3D space with PCA, and drew semantic links between related papers (51 papers · 125 links), colored by session. It turns a flat program into a shared map of the field.
To our knowledge, it's the first time an LLM-generated paper network has been introduced at a conference. A team effort.
